Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovalente throws a push kick but Wilder slaps the foot to one side.
Lovalente takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lovalente takes one to the chin there.

Wilder is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Van Wilder has been cut.
Wilder fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lovalente checks it well.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lovalente - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lovalente avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wilder misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilder throws a jab when Lovalente was well out of range.
Lovalente moves out of range as Wilder throws a body kick.
Lovalente changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wilder is not content to let Lovalente control the position.
Wilder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lovalente on the ground.
Lovalente creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Lovalente is working to tighten is grip on Wilder's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wilder has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lovalente is really squeezing tight and eventually Wilder passes out! Lovalente breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Federico Lovalente!
