The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez closes the distance and clinches.
Rodriguez has picked Frazier up - he's going for a ride! Rodriguez dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Frazier is trying to control but can't.
Rodriguez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Frazier to get to his feet.
Rodriguez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rodriguez stands up and beckons Frazier to join him on the feet.
Rodriguez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodriguez content to control rather than advance.
Frazier is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rodriguez has isolated one of Frazier's arms. Frazier looking to fight him off but Rodriguez twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
