Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Erik Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasta Fary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fary has chosen El toro guapo as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Erik Andersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rasta Fary! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fary tries to avoid it but Andersen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fary to the ground. Fary escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fary dodges the punch combination from Andersen.
Andersen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fary to score with a decent uppercut. Fary misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Andersen.
Sloppy strikes from Fary. Those never looked like landing. Andersen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fary is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Andersen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fary chips away with some ground and pound. Andersen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Andersen is working hard here to advance position. Andersen trying to control the position.
Fary wants to control from the top but Andersen keeps moving. Fary throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fary is looking to work some ground and pound but Andersen has wrist control. Fary stopping the sweep attempt from Andersen. Andersen wants to control but Fary passes easily into half guard.
Fary is looking to take a break and control but Andersen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fary is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Andersen reverses the position - he's now on top in Fary's guard. Fary looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Andersen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fary swivels though and keeps the full guard. Andersen wants to control from the top but Fary keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fary has Andersen pulled in close to control his posture. Andersen trying to move into half guard but instead Fary has managed to sweep! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fary not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Andersen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fary is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fary has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fary is trying desperately to improve position. Andersen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fary has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fary! Andersen looking for a sweep. Not yet Andersen, not yet. Fary wants to control from the top but Andersen keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andersen keeping full guard, as Fary tries to pass. Fary not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Andersen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Andersen is on top in guard.
Andersen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fary prevents Andersen from moving into mount. Andersen trying to control the action but Fary is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fary tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andersen trying to control the action but Fary is working from the bottom. A close round but Rasta Fary will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andersen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fary swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fary keeps the fight on the outside. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fary lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fary throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fary misses with a two punch combination.
Andersen wants to clinch up but Fary keeps it at a distance. Andersen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Andersen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fary. Fary steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Andersen. Fary throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Andersen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Andersen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fary.
Andersen looks to land a left hand but Fary moved out of range nicely. Andersen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fary swats him away and circles back towards the center. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Andersen.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fary slips under a jab from Andersen. Andersen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fary moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Andersen thows a body shot but no joy. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fary!

Fary tries to move into range but Andersen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Fary tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Andersen was well out of range. Poor timing from Fary. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fary connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fary shoots in for a double leg but Andersen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fary on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rasta Fary is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A combination from Fary does no damage. Fary stuffs the takedown. Andersen throws a solid leg kick but Fary takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Andersen. Andersen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fary tries to avoid it but Andersen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fary to the ground. Fary escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Andersen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fary has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Fary uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Andersen.

Nice defenses there by Fary. Andersen clobbers Fary with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Andersen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fary distracts Andersen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Erik Andersen will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Andersen fails with a takedown attempt. Fary jabs Andersen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Fary lands the left hand. Andersen scores with a nice strike. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fary checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Andersen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Andersen. Fary slips nicely into half guard. Andersen wants to improve his position but Fary is controlling well.

Fary wants to free his trapped foot but Andersen is holding on for dear life with his legs. Well, if Fary is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fary is keen to just control but Andersen is a slippery customer. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fary in particular looking to stall. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
