Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maelo Paulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weddle has chosen remember the name - fort minor as his entrance music. Wes Weddle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Paulo looks for a takedown but Weddle sprawls well.

Weddle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Paulo quickly recovers to half guard.
Weddle has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Paulo defend it? Weddle steps over the head and cranks it - Paulo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Weddle!

Wes Weddle opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
