Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stock Pile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gage Curry!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry has a takedown stuffed.

Pile tries to lock up and control but Curry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Stock Pile overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pile wants to hold on but Curry pushes him away.
Pile is desperately trying to improve his position but Curry has a good base and remains in mount.
Pile regains half guard.
Pile trying to hold on to Curry's head to control him but Curry postures up.

Curry is trying to work for a kimura but Pile is defending well.

Curry throwing shots but Pile is blocking nicely.

Curry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Curry lands in his opponent's guard.

Curry shoots in looking for a takedown. Pile tries to sprawl out of it but Curry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pile manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Curry gets a double leg takedown into Pile's guard.

Pile working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Curry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Curry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Curry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pile works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Curry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pile lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Curry!
Pile can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Curry is looking to escape.

Curry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Curry tries to hold on but Pile postures up.
Pile lands a big shot there that rocks Curry but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Pile content just to control the position here.

Pile avoids the attempt from Curry to control.
Pile with good strikes from the mount here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pile unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Curry wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Pile celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
