Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Omigawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omigawa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stotch lands with an overhand left.

Stotch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Omigawa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stotch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Omigawa stands up over Stotch, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Omigawa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Omigawa stands and throws Stotch's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Omigawa decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stotch to his feet.

Omigawa dives in and scores a takedown into Stotch's guard.
Omigawa controls from within his opponent's guard.
Omigawa works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Omigawa stands up and beckons Stotch to join him on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stotch slaps away a takedown attempt from Omigawa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Omigawa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stotch back to the cage. Omigawa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Leopold Stotch has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Omigawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stotch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stotch darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Omigawa takes the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Omigawa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Stotch wants to break the clinch but can't.

Omigawa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stotch ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Stotch lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stotch.
Stotch moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Stotch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Omigawa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stotch swivels and escapes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Omigawa, right into the meat.
Jab, jab by Stotch - just one landing.
Stotch with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Omigawa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A jab from Stotch does it's job there.
Stotch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Omigawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stotch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Omigawa misses with a takedown attempt - Stotch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leopold Stotch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Omigawa.
Stotch throws a good cross that connects.

Omigawa is rocked!

Stotch lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Omigawa goes down and covers up as Stotch starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
