The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincento misses with a wild body shot.

Diaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Vincento.
Vincento throws a poor cross that misses
and Diaz counters with a right hand to the body.
Diaz misses with a straight right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vincento. Diaz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
Vincento throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vincento shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vincento showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vincento looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Diaz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
