PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Alexandrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri Hasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henri Hasu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasu feints and then cracks Alexandrov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alexandrov down.
Hasu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alexandrov.
Alexandrov shoots in looking for a takedown. Hasu tries to sprawl out of it but Alexandrov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hasu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hasu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexandrov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hasu is in a horrible position here. Alexandrov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alexandrov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Alexandrov wants to control the pace but Hasu is squirming around nicely.

That has opened up Henri Hasu's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hasu wants to control but Alexandrov is having none of it.

Alexandrov postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hasu bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Alexandrov and the fight is over!
