Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eli Bathory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bathory's entrance music is 'The Butcher' By Radiohead. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bathory lands with a cross.
It looks like John Askren has been cut.
Bathory throws a jab but it's blocked by Askren.

Askren Throws a clean left jab. Askren Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Bathory's chin! Bathory crumbles to the ground and Askren follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Askren!

After winning the bout, John Askren thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
