Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Seagal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steven Seagal! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Seagal pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage. Jackson preventing the sweep. Jackson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Seagal manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Seagal being controlled here momentarily. Seagal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Seagal, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seagal wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. Seagal is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Seagal tries to land a sweep but no joy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Seagal can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Seagal pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Seagal counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Seagal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seagal trying to work for an americana but Jackson has managed to regain full guard.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Seagal drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. Seagal is controlling Jackson's posture. Let's hope that Seagal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jackson content to stall in guard here.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Seagal looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Seagal keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Seagal shoots and misses and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Jackson stays in close to Seagal's body and controls the position. Jackson being controlled here momentarily. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Seagal is retaining full guard. Seagal pulls Jackson in to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Steven Seagal wasn't active enough on the ground. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Seagal is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Seagal circles away and we're back to standing.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Seagal swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seagal tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seagal to the ground. Seagal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Seagal gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Seagal looking for a sweep. Not yet Seagal, not yet. Seagal has his hands on Jackson's head, controlling the position. Seagal manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Seagal goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seagal on the ground. Seagal controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Seagal looking for a sweep. Not yet Seagal, not yet. Jackson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Seagal is trying to keep Jackson in close.
Seagal looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Seagal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Steven Seagal has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Seagal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Steven Seagal will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt and Seagal counters with a nice double leg into guard. Seagal looking to pass the guard. Seagal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! Seagal drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson! Seagal tries to bench press Jackson off him but Jackson keeps the position. Seagal regains half guard. Jackson sitting and controlling from the half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Quinton Jackson just wasn't active enough. Jackson tries for a takedown but Seagal circles away easily and Seagal counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Seagal presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Seagal goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jackson turns into him and now he's in Seagal's guard.
Seagal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Seagal is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Seagal has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Jackson is in real trouble here. Seagal gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Seagal wins by rear naked choke!
