Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey misses the jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Braddock. That's going to slow Dempsey down.
A swing and a miss from Dempsey.
Braddock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dempsey swings for the body but Braddock moves out of range.
Braddock fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dempsey on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Braddock scores with a punch to the head.
Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Braddock lands a leg kick that knocks Dempsey off balance momentarily.

Dempsey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Braddock throws a right and a left that Dempsey avoids nicely.
Dempsey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Braddock catches Dempsey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A slow jab from Braddock misses its intended target.
Braddock throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dempsey takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Dempsey takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Braddock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dempsey was well out of range. Poor timing from Braddock.
Dempsey misses with a looping right.
Braddock scores with a push kick.
Braddock thuds his right hand into Dempsey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Braddock feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dempsey's calf.
Braddock throws a jab but it's blocked by Dempsey.

Braddock changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Braddock connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dempsey is rocked!
Braddock lands a slapping body shot.
Dempsey is still on wobbly legs! Can Braddock finish him?
Braddock measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Dempsey! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
