Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Codi Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktors Bricis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gale might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gravity kills - Guilty. Codi Gale could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Viktors Bricis's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Viktors Bricis!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bricis. Gale does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gale throws a hook but Bricis blocks it.
Gale on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gale goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Viktors Bricis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bricis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bricis just misses with a punch to the body.

Bricis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gale stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bricis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gale can pounce on him.

Gale tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bricis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bricis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bricis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gale has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bricis finds it's way round the side to connect with Gale's head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bricis.
Bricis tries to bum rush Gale with a series of wild strikes but Gale uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
