Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muai Thai shoots for a takedown but Volnaya Borba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Muai Thai doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Volnaya Borba counters with a shoot takedown. Muai Thai fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Volnaya Borba drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Volnaya Borba seems to have locked his on tight now - Muai Thai screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Volnaya Borba, as he picks up the win!
