Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman comes to the cage accompanied by Unclefucker. Hughes has chosen Country boy can survive as his entrance music. Ratt Hughes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cartman.
Hughes clobbers Cartman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cartman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cartman. Hughes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cartman throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cartman misses with a low kick.
Cartman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cartman looks to throw a body kick
and Hughes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cartman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hughes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cartman was well out of range. Poor timing from Hughes.

and Cartman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cartman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hughes backs up against the cage.

and Hughes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hughes thuds his right hand into Cartman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fighters circling - Cartman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hughes lands an overhand right.
Cartman swings widly with a right hand
and Hughes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Horrible takedown by Hughes or perhaps it was just good defense by Cartman which made him look bad.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hughes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Hughes counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hughes is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Cartman reverses the position - he's now on top in Hughes's guard.
Hughes has his foot on Cartman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cartman works his way back into a safe position though.
Hughes wants to improve his position but instead Cartman has moved into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hughes is controlling Cartman's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cartman trying to mount his opponent but Hughes defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ratt Hughes will probably get the nod.

Cartman throws a low kick but Hughes moves out of range easily.

and Hughes counters with a nice uppercut.
Eric Cartman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

and Hughes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cartman!
Hughes trying to control but Cartman is having none of it.
Hughes prevents Cartman from getting the reversal.
Hughes goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cartman is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hughes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cartman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cartman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hughes throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cartman uses it to pass to side control.
Cartman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hughes's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hughes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cartman off and has taken his back!
Well, with Hughes on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Cartman is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Cartman is really stuck here.
Hughes thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Cartman covering up well and avoiding damage.
Cartman is having to fend off submission attempts from Hughes, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hughes doesn't have the hooks in though and Cartman manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cartman tries to bum rush Hughes with a series of wild strikes but Hughes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hughes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hughes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cartman's head backwards.
Hughes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cartman.

Eric Cartman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ratt Hughes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cartman throws a solid leg kick but Hughes takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cartman.
Hughes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cartman under the eye.
Cartman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hughes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hughes throws a push kick but Cartman slaps the foot to one side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cartman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hughes, as that shot connected.
Cartman throws a jab when Hughes was well out of range.
And that's the end of the fight!
Eric Cartman showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hughes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
