Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ric Slobberknocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ric Slobberknocker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ralph Diaz! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Diaz. Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diaz throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Slobberknocker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A good leg kick by Diaz. Slobberknocker has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Diaz. Diaz keeps Slobberknocker at a distance using the push kick. Slobberknocker works Diaz's body with a nice hook. Crunch! Diaz slams his shin into Slobberknocker's torso. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz takes one to the chin there. Slobberknocker is looking to land body kicks. Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Slobberknocker moves out of range of the body kick from Diaz.
Slobberknocker thows a left - swing and a miss! Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.

It looks like Ric Slobberknocker has been cut. Slobberknocker misses with a hook
and Diaz counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz blocks a jab. Slobberknocker throws a one two combo.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Diaz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Diaz avoids the head kick by Slobberknocker.
Slobberknocker lands a nice shot that snaps Diaz's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slobberknocker connects with a right hand. Diaz shakes it off. Diaz lands a head kick. Slobberknocker smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Slobberknocker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ric Slobberknocker's cut is getting worse. Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slobberknocker. Diaz lands with a kick to the temple. Slobberknocker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Slobberknocker throws a hook but Diaz avoids it easily. Slobberknocker throws a right hand that misses
and Diaz counters with a good, hard body kick but Slobberknocker shrugs it off. Slobberknocker looks to land a combination. Diaz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing. Slobberknocker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Slobberknocker loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch. Slobberknocker misses with a right hand and Diaz counters with a flying knee. Nice. Slobberknocker throws a big shot that misses. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Slobberknocker with a hook. Slobberknocker thows a left - swing and a miss! A head kick misses from Diaz. A combination from Diaz does no damage. Ric Slobberknocker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slobberknocker missing with a left hand there. Diaz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Slobberknocker blocks a head kick by Diaz.
Diaz throws a front kick that sends Slobberknocker stumbling back into the cage. Slobberknocker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diaz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slobberknocker looks to throw the jab but Diaz is out of range. Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Slobberknocker. Slobberknocker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Slobberknocker looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range. Slobberknocker misses with a looping right. Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Slobberknocker moves out of range easily. Slobberknocker takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ric Slobberknocker's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Diaz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slobberknocker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diaz walks into a stiff left hand from Slobberknocker. Diaz looks to land a combination but Slobberknocker avoids it well. Diaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slobberknocker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Slobberknocker. Slobberknocker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slobberknocker throws a leg kick and Diaz counters with a flying knee. Nice. Slobberknocker will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Diaz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slobberknocker circles away quickly and effectively. Slobberknocker lands a nice hook to Diaz's body. Diaz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Slobberknocker misses the body punch and Diaz counters with a one-two to the body.
Jeez, Ric Slobberknocker's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ric Slobberknocker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ralph Diaz! An out of breath Ralph Diaz thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
