Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Nolty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobunaga Shirow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobunaga Shirow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Nolty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nobunaga Shirow!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nolty tries to avoid it but Shirow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nolty to the ground. Nolty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nolty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shirow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shirow tries a head kick but it misses.
Nolty throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A clash of legs there as Shirow blocks the low kick.
Shirow lands a jab to the nose.
Nolty throws a sloppy head kick
and Shirow counters with a crisp right that sends Nolty to the canvas! Shirow follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nobunaga Shirow!
