Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Captain Crunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigoberto Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Manowar - Battle Hymn as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ramirez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crunch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A left and a right from Ramirez both land. Nice combination.
Crunch is looking to clinch.
Ramirez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ramirez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Crunch doesn't manage to clinch there - Ramirez circles away.
Ramirez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ramirez misses with a head kick.
Crunch drives through and clinches with Ramirez against the cage.
Ramirez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Crunch uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crunch is looking to stand up but Ramirez won't let him.

Crunch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Ramirez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crunch is controlling him.

Ramirez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crunch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Crunch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ramirez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crunch defends it easily.
Ramirez tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ramirez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crunch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crunch wants to get up but he can't break Ramirez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crunch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crunch is looking to clinch but Ramirez is avoiding it.
Crunch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Crunch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramirez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ramirez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Crunch fails in his attempt to clinch.

Crunch tries to clinch but Ramirez is having none of it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Crunch checks a leg kick.
Ramirez throws a series of punches but Crunch moves out of range.
Crunch moves into the clinch successfully.
Crunch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Crunch tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ramirez avoids it.

Ramirez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crunch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crunch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Crunch stays in close to Ramirez's body and controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ramirez has momentary wrist control but Crunch slips an elbow through the middle.
Ramirez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Crunch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ramirez has tightened it up now! Crunch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Rigoberto Ramirez took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
