Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Tripp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tripp comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Company - The Nine. McDonald has chosen Sounds of Silence as his entrance music. Evander Tripp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald lands a front kick.
Tripp is breathing heavily.
McDonald moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Evander Tripp has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tripp takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McDonald drives through and clinches with Tripp against the cage.
A short left from McDonald.
Tripp tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
McDonald lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
McDonald works on Tripp's body with a couple of short punches.
McDonald pushes Tripp back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
McDonald scores with a nice hook to the head.
A short body shot lands from McDonald as the two fighters clinch.
McDonald lands a nice shot to the body.
McDonald lands an uppercut.
McDonald lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tripp backwards.
Tripp managing to block the knees to the body from McDonald.
McDonald is working Tripp over against the cage.
McDonald dips a shoulder and cracks Tripp with a mighty uppercut! Tripp falls back against the cage and McDonald unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tripp is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - McDonald screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch McDonald!
In his post fight interview, Mitch McDonald started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
