The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bingham throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smeinen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bingham is in Smeinen's guard.

Bingham sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smeinen's guard.

Bingham has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Smeinen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bingham loads up with a big shot that hurts Smeinen! He's pulled Bingham in close but Bingham has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Smeinen survive? More strikes from Bingham and Smeinen is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A less than humble Demetrious Bingham misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
