Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quantrelle Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trener Taiskogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trener Taiskogo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quantrelle Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trener Taiskogo! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taiskogo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jackson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Quantrelle Jackson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jackson misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick from Taiskogo misses. Jackson throws a leg kick and Taiskogo counters with a nice body kick. Trener Taiskogo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson throws a head kick that misses. Taiskogo is looking to score with low kicks. Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Taiskogo.
Taiskogo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson avoids the head kick by Taiskogo.
Jackson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Taiskogo will feel that in the morning. Taiskogo misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jackson. Taiskogo shrugs it off though. Taiskogo tries to land a leg kick but Jackson saw it coming and moves away.
Jackson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Taiskogo is able to avoid easily. Taiskogo throws the kick towards the body but Jackson avoids it. Taiskogo feints and then cracks Jackson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jackson down. Jackson blocks a head kick by Taiskogo.
Taiskogo tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Taiskogo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Taiskogo. Jackson avoids the body shot from Taiskogo.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jackson. Jackson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jackson trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Taiskogo to stand up. Quantrelle Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jackson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Taiskogo is trying to escape and Jackson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Taiskogo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jackson! Very nice indeed!
