Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McHaggis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHaggis gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Black wants to get back to full guard.

McHaggis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Black escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McHaggis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McHaggis cracks Black with a solid left hand.

Black has momentary wrist control but McHaggis slips an elbow through the middle.
McHaggis wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.

McHaggis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Black's head.

McHaggis postures up and lands a big shot to Black's brow.

McHaggis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McHaggis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Black will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jimmy McHaggis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McHaggis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and McHaggis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

McHaggis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McHaggis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.
McHaggis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McHaggis lands in his opponent's guard.
Black is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Black has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McHaggis doesn't defend quickly enough and Black has managed to lock this one up! Can McHaggis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Black on a fantastic submission victory.
