Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trololo Trololo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raymond Vladimirovitch! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladimirovitch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Trololo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vladimirovitch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Trololo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vladimirovitch to the ground. Trololo is now in Vladimirovitch's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Trololo passes Vladimirovitch's left leg - he's now in half guard. Vladimirovitch wants to get back to his feet. Trololo stands up and beckons Vladimirovitch to join him on the feet. Trololo clinches up against the cage. Trololo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vladimirovitch.
Trololo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Trololo is looking to clinch but Vladimirovitch is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vladimirovitch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Trololo on his heels. He'll look to pass Trololo's guard now, I'm sure. Vladimirovitch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Trololo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Vladimirovitch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Trololo has tightened it up now! Vladimirovitch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
