The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tutan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Kapitan Tutan has been cut.
Tua takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tutan shoots in and drives through. Tua sprawls well.

Tutan shoots in for a double leg but Tua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tutan throws a lazy right hand but Tua sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tutan lands a nice shot to the body.
Tua throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tutan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Tua drops Tutan with a beautiful combination! Tutan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tua is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tua sends Tutan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tua is motioning to the referee to let Tutan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Tutan is rocked!

Tua ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Tutan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tua misses with a low kick.
Tua tries a low kick but Tutan avoids it.
Tutan seems to have got his legs back now.
Tutan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tua.
Tua cracks Tutan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tutan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tua pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tutan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fatu Tua!
