Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Adelante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Surrender kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rocky Balboa has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Evander Adelante's chin.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa moves into the clinch.
Balboa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Adelante walks away with a smile on his face. Balboa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Balboa closes the distance looking to clinch
and Adelante counters with a nice double leg into side control. Balboa won't be happy with that.
Adelante slows the pace down.
Balboa is looking for a sweep.
Adelante is looking to take a break and control but Balboa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adelante wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balboa, who protects the arm well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adelante trying to control the position but Balboa is working away.

Balboa managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Adelante.
Adelante wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balboa, who protects the arm well.

Balboa tries to lock up and control but Adelante gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Adelante is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Balboa is defending well though. Adelante let's go of the attempt for now.
Adelante is trying to stick to Balboa's back but Balboa is turning into Adelante. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Adelante's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Balboa.
Adelante controls Balboa momentarily but Balboa frees himself.

Adelante is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Balboa defends well.

Balboa stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Adelante has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Balboa manages to get his head free but now Adelante has transitioned to an armbar! Balboa grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Adelante! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
