Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keat Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cullen comes to the cage accompanied by My way - Sid Vicious . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Keat Cullen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikio Okita! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okita throws a hook but Cullen avoids it easily. Okita dives in and grabs Cullen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cullen pushes down on Okita's head and hops out. Cullen slips a straight right by Okita. Okita shoots in and bounces Cullen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Okita looking to sit in guard and control but Cullen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cullen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Okita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cullen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cullen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cullen wants to control from the top but Okita keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cullen won't allow Okita to sweep him here. Okita keeping moving, preventing Cullen from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okita has an active guard here but Cullen has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cullen is trying to control the action in half guard but Okita is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cullen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Okita tries to roll over but Cullen keeps him under control. Cullen content to control rather than advance. Okita is staying active underneath Cullen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Okita is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Keat Cullen. Cullen lands with a right hand. A good leg kick by Cullen. Okita moves out of range of the strikes. Okita wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cullen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cullen throws a shot from downtown. Okita moves away and avoids it. Okita dives in and scores a takedown into Cullen's guard. Cullen controls Okita momentarily but Okita frees himself. Okita advances to half guard. Okita wants to pass the guard but Cullen is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okita passes the guard and advances to mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Okita can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cullen is looking to escape. Okita is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cullen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Okita moves to the back position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okita really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cullen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikio Okita dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Cullen counters with a slapping leg kick. Okita tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cullen was well out of range. Poor timing from Okita. Cullen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Cullen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Okita. Cullen throws out a loose jab but Okita uses good head movement to avoid it. Okita checks the leg kick. Okita checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Okita misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okita moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A solid leg kick lands there for Cullen.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cullen. Okita does a little dance to reset his feet. Okita takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cullen's corner calls for a 1-2. Cullen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Okita doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cullen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Keat Cullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Okita throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cullen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Okita throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cullen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Cullen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Okita moves away. Cullen clinches with his opponent.

Cullen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Okita checks it well. Cullen misses with a low kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cullen with a body punch. A glancing blow. Okita stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Cullen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Okita. Okita shoots in looking for a takedown but Cullen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Okita's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Okita misses with a looping right. Cullen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Okita was well out of range. Poor timing from Cullen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Okita. Keat Cullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikio Okita. Cullen thows a body shot but no joy. Okita throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Okita slips under a jab from Cullen. Cullen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cullen tries to clinch there but Okita circles away.
Okita misses with a hook. Cullen misses with a right hand and Okita counters with a lovely straight right hand! Okita looks for a takedown but Cullen sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Okita there. A big right from Okita misses. Cullen scores with a nice right hand.
Okita might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Okita shoots in for a takedown but Cullen shows good takedown defense. Cullen just misses with a punch to the body.
Cullen throws a body punch but Okita moves out of range. Okita on the wrong end of a nice hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cullen scores with a body shot.
Cullen throws a nice outside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Okita has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cullen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keat Cullen dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A jab from Okita misses. Okita cracks Cullen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Cullen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Okita defending well as Cullen loads up on a big left hand. A leg kick checked by Okita. Okita works the jab nicely. Cullen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okita throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cullen tries to score with a low kick but Okita moves his leg out of the way. Okita bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cullen stuffs the takedown attempt from Okita. Okita gets slowly back to his feet. Cullen slips under a jab. Nice shot by Cullen. Nice sprawl there from Cullen as Okita shoots in. A jab from Okita misses. Cullen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Keat Cullen is winning the standup battle so far. Cullen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cullen throws a big shot that misses. Cullen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cullen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Okita is out of range and Cullen settles back down. Cullen throws a jab but it's blocked by Okita. Cullen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okita.
Okita misses with an uppercut. Okita jabs Cullen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Okita gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cullen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Okita's knee momentarily. Keat Cullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikio Okita. Cullen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okita.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cullen throws out a leg kick but Okita moves out of range and Cullen only half commits. Cullen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Okita at a distance.
Cullen feints and then cracks Okita's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Okita down. Cullen ducks under a wild hook from Okita. Cullen cracks the inside of Okita's front leg. Good standup being displayed there by Cullen as he connects with a hook. Cullen takes a swing at Okita's ribcage but misses. That's four minutes gone in the round. Okita feints and as Cullen raises his hands in defense, Okita changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Okita stands and throws Cullen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Cullen is not content to let Okita control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cullen is looking to reverse the position. Okita is trying to get an arm triangle but Cullen is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okita is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cullen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Keat Cullen. I think Cullen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
