Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Meridius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sexion d'Assaut - Desole . Rogers has chosen Rohff feat Big Ali - Dirty Houss as his entrance music. Meridius is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Brett Rogers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers cracks the inside of Meridius's front leg.
Meridius is breathing heavily.
Meridius gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rogers.
It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Meridius checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rogers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Meridius moves out of range of the body kick from Rogers.
Rogers clinches up against the cage.
Rogers lands a big knee to the head and Meridius goes down! Rogers pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brett Rogers!
