Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Momoko Yamaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eli Williams had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Momoko Yamaguchi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Momoko Yamaguchi! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yamaguchi circles away. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi gets a clinch. Williams wants a takedown but no success here.
Yamaguchi lands an elbow inside. Williams has Yamaguchi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yamaguchi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yamaguchi creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Williams's defenses. Williams wants a takedown.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yamaguchi connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back. Williams is breathing heavily. Yamaguchi scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Yamaguchi catches Williams with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Eli Williams has been cut. Yamaguchi lands with a kick to the ribs.
Yamaguchi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Williams has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamaguchi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Yamaguchi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yamaguchi moves into the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Williams drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Williams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yamaguchi is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Yamaguchi lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Yamaguchi utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yamaguchi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A kick lands to the mid section there for Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi takes the fight into the clinch. Williams takes a knee to the side of the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yamaguchi scores with a shot to the side of Williams's head. Yamaguchi tries a knee to the head but Williams blocks it.

Yamaguchi digs a right hand underneath Williams's ribcage. Williams let out a lung full of air as it connected. Yamaguchi landing knees to the body.

Yamaguchi lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Yamaguchi lands an elbow that stopped Williams in his tracks for a moment. Yamaguchi crunches a lovely knee into Williams's ribcage. Yamaguchi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Yamaguchi lands a damaging elbow. Yamaguchi tries a body shot but Williams blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yamaguchi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Knees in the clinch landing for Yamaguchi.

Yamaguchi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yamaguchi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Williams.
Yamaguchi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Yamaguchi does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Yamaguchi. Williams keeps the fight on the outside. Williams gets a takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Yamaguchi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Yamaguchi pulls Williams in close to prevent any damage. Yamaguchi trying to control the position.
Yamaguchi tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yamaguchi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Yamaguchi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Momoko Yamaguchi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eli Williams's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Yamaguchi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Momoko Yamaguchi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Yamaguchi throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. Yamaguchi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Williams. Yamaguchi throws a chopping leg kick but Williams manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Yamaguchi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Yamaguchi cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamaguchi is just out of range. Yamaguchi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Williams on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Williams chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yamaguchi can pounce on him.
Yamaguchi cracks Williams with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Williams looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Yamaguchi finish him?
Williams is rocked! Yamaguchi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Yamaguchi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Yamaguchi throws a powerful right kick. Williams tried to block low but the kick was high! Williams was taken right off of his feet! Yamaguchi jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
