Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hakan Ozpolat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jinx Minx! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minx shoots in and drives through. Ozpolat sprawls well. Minx looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Minx tries for a takedown but Ozpolat circles away easily and Ozpolat counters with a nice body shot. Ozpolat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ozpolat motions for Minx to come forward. Ozpolat throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ozpolat lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Minx backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jinx Minx has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Ozpolat clinches. Minx is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ozpolat wants a takedown but no success here.

Minx is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ozpolat has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Minx off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Minx blocks a head kick by Ozpolat.
Horrible takedown by Ozpolat or perhaps it was just good defense by Minx which made him look bad. Ozpolat jabs Minx right on the nose. Minx blinks but takes it well. Jinx Minx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ozpolat rushes Minx and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ozpolat is looking to break free of the clinch but Minx has double underhooks. Ozpolat is stalling here.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. This has been an exciting period of action! Ozpolat sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ozpolat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hakan Ozpolat has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ozpolat scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ozpolat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Minx swivels and escapes. Ozpolat clinches up with Minx and pushes him back against the cage. Ozpolat is trying to drag Minx to the mat but Minx just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ozpolat gets control of Minx's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ozpolat will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Minx throws a big elbow that misses. Ozpolat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Minx can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Minx postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ozpolat shoots in for a takedown but Minx shows good takedown defense. Hakan Ozpolat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ozpolat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Minx. Ozpolat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ozpolat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ozpolat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ozpolat trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ozpolat is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hakan Ozpolat just wasn't active enough. Ozpolat lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ozpolat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Minx pinned against the cage. Minx gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice sprawl there from Minx as Ozpolat shoots in. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ozpolat ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ozpolat no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ozpolat scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ozpolat forces Minx back against the cage and clinches. Ozpolat is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Minx can do to turn this around? Ozpolat pulls Minx into guard.
Minx throws a big right hand that misses. Ozpolat has his feet on Minx's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Ozpolat fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Minx shoots in but Ozpolat avoids the takedown attempt easily. Minx shoots for a takedown but Ozpolat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Minx is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ozpolat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Minx. Ozpolat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Minx. Minx slaps away a takedown attempt from Ozpolat, before circling back to the center of the mat. Minx closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ozpolat circles away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Minx fails with a takedown attempt. Minx tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ozpolat swivels and escapes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Minx slaps away a takedown attempt from Ozpolat, before circling back to the center of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Minx can do anything to dispel that myth. Ozpolat controls from within his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ozpolat sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Minx's guard. Jinx Minx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hakan Ozpolat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ozpolat content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Hakan Ozpolat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ozpolat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
