Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Auqui Budstre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charlie Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Budstre. Budstre circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Budstre avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell throws a wild body kick that Budstre sees coming a mile off.
Budstre shoots in looking for a takedown but Liddell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Budstre's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Budstre doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Budstre fails with an attempt to clinch.
Budstre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liddell circles away quickly and effectively.
Liddell throws a shot to the body.
Budstre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Budstre with that takedown attempt.
Liddell tests Budstre's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Donk. Liddell catches Budstre right on the button with a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Budstre shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Liddell defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Auqui Budstre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Budstre is breathing heavily.
Budstre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Liddell.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Budstre tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Liddell is able to avoid easily.
Budstre takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Budstre moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off.
Liddell jabs Budstre to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Liddell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Charlie Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Liddell clobbers Budstre with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Liddell feints a jab promting Budstre to slip. Liddell then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Budstre slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


Budstre is rocked!
Liddell is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Budstre flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Budstre is out cold! Liddell holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charlie Liddell!
