Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nobunaga Shirow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tim Robinson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nobunaga Shirow's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirow shoots in and drives through. Robinson sprawls well.
Shirow swinging wilding here.
Shirow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shirow off to one side.
Shirow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nobunaga Shirow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice leg kick lands there from Robinson.
Robinson dodges the punch combination from Shirow.
Robinson throws a leg kick but Shirow moved away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Robinson.
Shirow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robinson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Nobunaga Shirow has been cut.
Robinson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A punch combination from Shirow misses.
Robinson lands a front kick.
Robinson throws a body kick that misses.
Robinson throws a right hand that Shirow ducks under and follows up with a left that Shirow also avoids with ease.

Robinson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Shirow checks it well.
Robinson throws a nice looking combination but Shirow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Robinson clinches with his opponent.

Robinson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Robinson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Robinson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Robinson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shirow.
Shirow slips a jab and a cross from Robinson.
Robinson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Shirow drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shirow is breathing heavily.
Shirow stopping the sweep attempt from Robinson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robinson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Shirow postures up.
Shirow throwing strikes but missing.
Shirow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robinson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Robinson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Shirow throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Robinson's body to avoid the submission. Robinson has instead reached around Shirow's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Robinson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
