The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown
and Jimenez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jimenez misses the shot to the body.
Jimenez connects with a right hand. King shakes it off.
Jimenez cracks King with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jimenez misses with a wild body shot.
Jimenez just misses with a punch to the body.
Jimenez throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
Jimenez scores with a body shot.
King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King has a takedown stuffed.
Loco Jimenez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nosmo King.

King is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jimenez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King has hold of Jimenez's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jimenez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - King cranks the arm and Jimenez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jimenez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Nosmo King! Nosmo King retains his super heavyweight title!
