Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nolan Kloss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Action Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kloss connects with a leg kick. Jackson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jackson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kloss counters with a nice leg kick.
Kloss pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jackson back to the cage. Kloss follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kloss lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson tries to clinch up.
Jackson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kloss counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jackson shoots in but Kloss avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kloss throws a leg kick which misses Jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jackson tries to avoid it.
Kloss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson.
Kloss misses with a wild combination.
Kloss fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.

Action Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kloss counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jackson's knee momentarily.
Kloss goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Kloss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Kloss persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jackson is staying active underneath Kloss, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jackson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kloss's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kloss's back!

Jackson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kloss has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kloss wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.

Jackson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kloss is now in Jackson's guard. A big mistake from Jackson there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kloss is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Kloss sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard.
Kloss is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kloss scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Kloss has control of the leg.

Kloss lands strikes from half guard.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kloss pulls his head out easily.

Kloss is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kloss.
Jackson has hold of Kloss's hands but Kloss slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kloss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kloss looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jackson wants to improve his position but Kloss is controlling well.
Kloss is just content to waste time from the top position. Jackson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kloss distracts Jackson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kloss landing with the ground and pound.
Kloss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kloss is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kloss trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kloss stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jackson wants to clinch
and Kloss counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Kloss counters with a nice body kick.
Kloss swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kloss looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Kloss circles away.
Kloss works over Jackson's head and body with a nice combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nolan Kloss dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jackson scores with a jab. Kloss acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jackson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kloss misses with a wild body shot.
Jackson looks to clinch
and Kloss counters with a nice leg kick.
Jackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kloss, right into the meat.
Kloss moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kloss displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Jackson tries to clinch up
and Kloss counters with a head kick.

Kloss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kloss seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kloss is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jackson wants to control but Kloss is keeping busy.

Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kloss connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.
Jackson has hold of Kloss's hands but Kloss slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kloss winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Kloss is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kloss is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kloss pulls his head out easily.
Kloss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kloss is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kloss drops an elbow to the side of Jackson's head.


Jackson is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kloss looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Kloss finish him?
Kloss working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kloss is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jackson is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kloss fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jackson from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kloss! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nolan Kloss!
Nolan Kloss decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
