Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Stifler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Bede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Stifler !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Bede!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bede has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stifler finds it's way round the side to connect with Bede's head.
Stifler sizes up Bede with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bede missing with a left hand there. Stifler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bede ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lucas Bede seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bede gets a clinch.
Bede is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stifler is defending well for now.

Stifler gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bede regains guard.
Stifler postures up.

Bede is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stifler defends well.
Stifler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bede preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bede is trying to control the position but Stifler postures up.
Stifler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stifler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bede pulls his head out easily.

Bede loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bede postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Stifler looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bede has picked Stifler up and slammed him! Stifler can't keep hold of the triangle and Bede manages to pass to side control!
Bede really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stifler . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stifler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bede wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stifler is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stifler is trying to control Bede's posture but Bede avoids it.
Bede wants to control but Stifler is keeping him busy.
Stifler is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bede's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bede throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stifler moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Stifler closes the distance and pushes Bede back into the cage.
Stifler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bede pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Stifler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bede misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bede scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stifler doesn't seem bothered though.

Stifler dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A decent looking cross lands there for Stifler .
Bede loads up on a big right hand but Stifler slips the punch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Stifler will probably get the nod.
That's time! Stifler 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bede throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stifler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stifler connects with a nice short shot to Bede's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bede can't escape the position.
Stifler landing strikes from the mount and Bede is in trouble!

And that's the end of the fight!
Steve Stifler showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Stifler has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
