Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stu Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Travis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivanov comes to the cage accompanied by Follow the Tears. Stu Ivanov has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stu Ivanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dylan Travis!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov throws a leg kick

and Travis counters with a takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Travis tries for a kimura but Ivanov is defending well.
Ivanov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Travis asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Travis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ivanov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

I really don't envy Ivanov right now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Travis is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ivanov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ivanov for a finish.

Ivanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Travis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ivanov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Travis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ivanov pulls his head out easily.

Ivanov is looking for submissions but instead, Travis has regained full guard.

Travis has his foot on Ivanov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ivanov works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ivanov wants to pass the guard but Travis is keeping the position.

Dylan Travis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ivanov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Travis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Travis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Travis!

I've got Travis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
