Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Acacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doc Holliday told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mauricio Acacio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doc Holliday! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holliday shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Acacio napping and manages to drive through into side control! Acacio manages to get back to half guard. Acacio is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Holliday pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Acacio looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Holliday is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Acacio defends it well. Acacio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Holliday is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Acacio has managed to free his arm - good work. Acacio looking for submissions off his back. Holliday throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Holliday gets a double leg takedown into Acacio's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Holliday connects with a couple of short punches. Acacio throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holliday escapes and throws Acacio's legs to the side, diving into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doc Holliday dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Acacio misses with a takedown attempt and Holliday counters with a nice double leg into guard. Holliday showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Holliday trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Holliday trying to control but Acacio is working from the bottom. Holliday is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Doc Holliday has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Acacio gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Holliday counters with a straight right hand. Holliday shoots in and gets a takedown into Acacio's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Acacio isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Holliday stacks Acacio on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Holliday! Holliday wants to control but Acacio is keeping him busy. Holliday is working Acacio over with some ground and pound from side control. Holliday working the head with strikes. An elbow from Holliday crashes against the mat.

Holliday is working for a submission of some sort.

Acacio has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Holliday. Oh but Acacio has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Holliday goes limp - he's gone! Acacio jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
