Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Kasady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Money Montell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montell has chosen I Get Money as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Cletus Kasady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Money Montell!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Montell, right into the meat.
Kasady throws a leg kick that is checked
and Montell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kasady doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kasady fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Montell manages to avoid it.
Kasady lands a head kick!
Montell gets caught flat footed, as Kasady shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kasady wants to pass the guard but Montell is keeping the position.
Kasady not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kasady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kasady drops back, looking for a kneebar! Montell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Montell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Montell!
Kasady is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Montell is controlling him well.
Montell content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Kasady is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kasady looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Montell pushes past his half guard into mount!
Kasady is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Montell wants to control the pace but Kasady is squirming around nicely.
Kasady is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Montell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kasady uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Montell.

Montell throws a leg kick but Kasady moved away.
Kasady moves forwards but Montell connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Montell misses with a low kick as Kasady jumps back.
Montell throws a chopping leg kick but Kasady manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Montell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kasady.
Montell takes one to the side of the head.
Money Montell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kasady ducks under a wild hook from Montell.

Montell swings for the body but Kasady moves out of range.

Kasady dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kasady ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kasady shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Montell defends it nicely.
A jab from Montell finds it's way through Kasady's defenses.
Kasady throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kasady shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Montell pinned against the cage. Montell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Montell tries to land a leg kick but Kasady saw it coming and moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Kasady counters with a stiff right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Money Montell will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kasady tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kasady throws a sloppy head kick and Montell moves out of range easily.
Montell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kasady on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kasady will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kasady does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Montell cracks the inside of Kasady's front leg.
Montell's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Montell duly obliges.

Kasady shoots in looking for a takedown but Montell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kasady's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Montell misses with a hook.
Montell drops his hands momentarily and Kasady takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Horrible takedown by Kasady or perhaps it was just good defense by Montell which made him look bad.
Kasady shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kasady dives in and grabs Montell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Montell pushes down on Kasady's head and hops out.
Cletus Kasady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kasady shoots in looking for a takedown. Montell tries to sprawl out of it but Kasady keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Montell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Montell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kasady checks a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Montell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kasady has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kasady and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kasady tries to score a body lock takedown but Montell shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Montell throws a leg kick but Kasady sees it coming and moves out of range.
That kick from Montell tenderised Kasady's leg. Kasady is trying to keep his angry face on.

Money Montell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Montell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kasady throws a wild body kick that Montell sees coming a mile off.
Kasady closes the distance and clinches up with Montell, looking for a takedown. Kasady pushes Montell against the cage but Montell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kasady shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Montell but Montell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kasady shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Montell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kasadys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kasady closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Montell to the mat! Montell manages to get full guard.
Kasady won't allow Montell to get back to his feet.
Kasady tries to free his leg and advance position but Montell is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kasady has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Montell defend it? Kasady steps over the head and cranks it - Montell is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kasady!
