Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter White! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White cracks the inside of Shaw's front leg. Shaw tries to clinch up but White circles away and keeps his distance. Shaw clinches with his opponent.
White jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shaw walks away with a smile on his face. White gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Shaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage. Shaw scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Walter White has been cut. Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shaw fails with an attempt to clinch.
White throws a lazy head kick and Shaw counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Shaw wants the takedown. White is fighting it off but Shaw persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in White's guard against the cage. White is trying to control the position but Shaw postures up. Shaw trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is trying to hold Shaw in close to prevent damage but Shaw has managed to pass into half guard.

Shaw gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Shaw closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White tries to break free but Shaw pushes him back against the cage. Shaw stops a takedown attempt from White.

White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

White misses with the body kick and Shaw counters by clinching up. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Shaw. White is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shaw is defending well. White gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White lands with a kick to the temple. Shaw shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" White throws a nice inside leg kick. Shaw has White up against the cage in a clinch.
White is trying to push Shaw away but Shaw has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. White is working for takedown but Shaw is calmly controlling the position for now. Shaw pulls guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White wants to pass the guard but Shaw is keeping the position. This has been an exciting period of action! White trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Shaw dominated that round. The cut man is working on Walter White's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
White misses with a head kick.
White swats away the attempt to clinch by Shaw. White throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Shaw counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Shaw is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Shaw lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Shaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shaw tries to clinch but White is having none of it. A low kick from White is predictable there and Shaw counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shaw. White is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shaw is defending well for now. A head punch blocked on the inside by Shaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but White blocks it with crossed arms. Shaw has hold of one of White's legs. White is fighting the takedown attempt but Shaw gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. White is looking to stand up but Shaw isn't so interested in that idea. Shaw knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground. Shaw would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Shaw wasn't doing enough on the ground. Shaw clinches. White wants to take the fight to the mat but Shaw manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Shaw prevents the takedown attempt.
White tries to pull guard but Shaw holds him up against the cage and eventually White drops back down to his feet.
Johnny Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter White. Shaw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Shaw jumps guard.
Shaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shaw is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to stand but White is controlling the position. Shaw is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. White preventing the sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Shaw tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White chopping away at his opponent's legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White throws a sloppy head kick and Shaw moves out of range easily. White throws a head kick but Shaw moves out of range.
Shaw takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

White working hard to break the clinch. Johnny Shaw has scored more points in the clinch so far. White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Shaw slowing the pace effectively. White takes a knee right on the jaw!
That's one minute gone in the round. White is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shaw is defending well. White stalling in the clinch but Shaw improves position. White takes an elbow to the temple. Shaw content to slow the pace in the clinch.
White is trying to break the clinch but Shaw has him pressed against the cage. White has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Shaw pulls White into guard.
White looking to pass the guard. Shaw is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and White dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to get back to his feet but White drags him back down. White trying to control the position but Shaw is working away. Shaw is looking to reverse the position. White is looking to take a break and control but Shaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shaw regains half guard there - taking advantage of White's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White wants to pass to mount but Shaw is defending the position. Shaw is trying to get back to full guard. Shaw tries to kick White off but White keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. White has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Shaw works to full guard. White decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Shaw, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. White goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. White throws a head kick that misses. Shaw tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Shaw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away. White throws a sloppy head kick and Shaw counters into the clinch. Nicely done. White is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shaw is keeping busy. Shaw misses with an elbow strike.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Walter White. I think Shaw has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
