Kempny comes into the arena with Lordi - Devil is a Loser blaring out of the sound system. Lucky Mussiono has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Simon Kempny's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kempny falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mussiono counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kempny tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mussiono manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kempny darts in and clinches Mussiono up against the cage.

Mussiono had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kempny defends it easily.
Kempny will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kempny is looking to stand up but Mussiono won't let him.

Mussiono working for a triangle but Kempny defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mussiono is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mussiono is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kempny sees it coming and defends easily.
Mussiono works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mussiono has hold of Kempny's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kempny tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mussiono cranks the arm and Kempny screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kempny, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
