Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Ruxin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matia Salla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruxin comes to the cage accompanied by Hero. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruxin stuffs the takedown attempt from Salla. Salla gets slowly back to his feet.
Ruxin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ruxin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Matia Salla has been cut.
Ruxin scores with a hook to the body. Salla takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Salla tries to bum rush Ruxin with a series of wild strikes but Ruxin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Salla avoids a punch combination nicely.

Salla fails with an attempt to clinch.
Salla is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ruxin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ruxin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sallas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Salla is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ruxin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Salla.
Salla stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ruxin.

Ruxin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Ruxin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Salla sprawling to the canvas! Salla rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ruxin finish him?!
