Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raging Douche! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron St James! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Douche tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice defenses there by St James. Douche throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent St James stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. St James scores a takedown into full mount! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. St James scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Douche?
Douche knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St James on the ground. St James raining down hammerfists from mount. St James raining down shots from the mount! St James thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! St James cracks Douche with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. St James connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Douche might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. St James postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Douche looks a forlorn figure.
Douche is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St James throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. St James with good strikes from the mount here! St James lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This has been an exciting period of action! St James looking to ground and pound but Douche is blocking nicely. St James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. St James punishing his opponent with strikes. St James raining down hammerfists from mount. St James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
St James postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Douche looks a forlorn figure.
