Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away. Hall shoots in and bounces Diaz off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Hall tries to stand but Diaz is controlling from the bottom. Diaz wants to stand but Hall is controlling the position. Hall wants to stand and escape but instead Diaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Diaz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Diaz thows a huge punch but Hall dodges it nicely.
Diaz passes the guard and advances to mount! Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hall is looking to escape. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz controlling from mount. Diaz looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Hall is squirming around, avoiding Diaz's attempts to control the action. Diaz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hall is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Diaz thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz trying to control but Hall is having none of it. Diaz looking to ground and pound but Hall is blocking nicely. Diaz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hall has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hall! Diaz working a defensive guard here.
Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hall's guard. Hall wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hall is on top in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Diaz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diaz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Diaz has his foot on Hall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hall works his way back into a safe position though. Diaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hall! Diaz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hall can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hall wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Diaz misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Diaz throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Diaz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hall because Diaz loaded up on that one. Diaz trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hall wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Diaz goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hall is on top in guard.
Hall preventing the sweep. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Diaz is keeping the position for now. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Diaz dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hall lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nice uppercut lands for Diaz. That snapped Hall's head back.
Hall throws a left and a right that both miss
and Diaz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Diaz throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Hall crashing down! Hall tries to stagger back to his feet but Diaz just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Hall asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Diaz! After the fight, Nick Diaz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
