Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dong Bae Mok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Otool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otool has chosen invincible as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dong Bae Mok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Otool! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mok fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Mok lands a right hook to the body.
Otool misses with a series of wild punches.
Otool throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mok. Mok gets caught napping as Otool dives in and scores a takedown. Mok manages to retain guard. Otool postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Otool throws a big right hand that misses. Mok throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Mok had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Otool defends it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Otool throwing strikes but missing. Mok is striking but Otool is not phased and passes to half guard. Mok makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mok. Mok throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Otool must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mok striking off his back but it's not causing Otool any problems.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mok is on top in guard.
Otool avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mok stays in close to Otool's body and controls the position. Mok's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mok throws a big right hand that misses. Mok trying to control but Otool is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Dong Bae Mok wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Mok forces Otool back against the ropes and clinches. Otool is trying to trip Mok. He has hold of a leg but Mok is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Otool persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Mok is trying to control the position but Otool postures up. Mok avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mok controls Otool momentarily but Otool frees himself. Otool throws a big right hand that misses. Mok trying to keep a closed guard but Otool is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mok is on top in guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Mok looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Otool can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dong Bae Mok. Mok gets a clinch. Mok breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mok lands with an overhand left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mok scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Otool misses with a jab, cross combination.
Otool takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mok thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Otool if he has to take too many more of those.
A good leg kick by Mok. Mok fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Otool has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Otool fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Otool decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Otool looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mok makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mok. Mok is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Otool rolls with it to try and escape but Mok cranks on the arm and Otool is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dong Bae Mok!
