Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Santoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicky Santoro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicky Santoro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Mousasi. Mousasi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Santoro. Mousasi throws out a powerful jab. Santoro swings for the body but Mousasi moves out of range.
Mousasi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mousasi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Santoro dives in and scores a takedown into Mousasi's guard. Mousasi wants to get back to his feet but Santoro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mousasi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Santoro. Santoro pushes down on Mousasi's leg and manages to get into half guard. Santoro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mousasi's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santoro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Santoro stalling. Mousasi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Santoro. Santoro stops Mousasi from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Santoro content to control rather than advance. Mousasi is trying to stand up here but Santoro is controlling him well. Santoro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mousasi lands a two punch combo.
A shot to the liver by Mousasi. Beautiful body shot. A slow jab from Mousasi misses its intended target. Mousasi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mousasi dips to his left and cracks Santoro with an uppercut!
Santoro is rocked! Mousasi is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mousasi throws a right hand that Santoro ducks under and follows up with a left that Santoro also avoids with ease. Oh Santoro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chuck Mousasi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Santoro closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mousasi to the mat! Mousasi manages to get full guard. Santoro seems to have got his legs back now. Mousasi is looking to stand up but Santoro isn't so interested in that idea. Santoro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Santoro's corner is telling him to maintain position. Santoro wants to pass the guard but Mousasi is keeping the position. Santoro throws a big elbow that misses. Santoro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicky Santoro. Santoro swings for the body but Mousasi moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mousasi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mousasi looks to land a left hand but Santoro moved out of range nicely. Mousasi misses with the combination.
Santoro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mousasi sprawls well initially but Santoro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Santoro not doing much here.
Santoro not landing any meaningful shots this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Santoro in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chuck Mousasi will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A swing and a miss from Santoro. Mousasi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chuck Mousasi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mousasi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mousasi throws a series of punches but Santoro moves out of range. A combination from Santoro does no damage. Some wild striking there from Mousasi.
Mousasi throws a good cross that connects.
Mousasi throws a right and a left that Santoro avoids nicely. Santoro gets a takedown into half guard. Santoro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santoro passes to full mount! Santoro lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mousasi hang on? Mousasi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Santoro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mousasi's face.
Mousasi is rocked! Santoro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mousasi is still in real trouble! Can Santoro finish him? Santoro has control of Mousasi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mousasi regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Santoro loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mousasi scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Santoro land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Santoro stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nicky Santoro! As Nicky Santoro got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Get this pathetic scrub out of my sight, I'm making my clain in this ORG. Everyone else just a cockaroach! '.
