Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Takanawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Otool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otool has chosen invincible as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jimmy Otool is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanawa throws a front kick that sends Otool stumbling back into the cage.
Otool throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takanawa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Takanawa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Otool was covering up waiting for the punch and Takanawa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Takanawa tries to free his leg and advance position but Otool is retaining full guard.
Otool is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Takanawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Otool is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Otool wants to stand but Takanawa is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jimmy Takanawa.
Otool throws a one two combo.

It looks like Jimmy Takanawa has been cut.
Takanawa plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Otool connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Takanawa covering up! Otool comes in with a big uppercut and Takanawa goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
