The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Lobe misses. Six keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Six shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Six is figuring out what he wants to do next. Lobe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lobe tries to get to full guard but Six has control of the leg. Six working over Lobe with some ground and pound. Lobe looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lobe controlling the position well. Six prevents Lobe from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Six thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lobe is looking for a sweep. Six is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lobe is pressing down on Six's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Six working some strikes from top position. Lobe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
