The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marquez.
Bastard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bastard avoids the body shot from Marquez.
Marquez moves out of range of the strikes.
Bastard throws the left hand but Marquez avoids the punch easily.
Bastard throws a looping overhand right but Marquez ducks down to avoid it.
Bastard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bastard misses with a straight right.
A punch combination from Bastard misses.
Marquez with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Marquez lands with a straight right. Bastard didn't see that one coming.
Marquez throws a body punch but Bastard moves out of range.

Bastard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bastard tries a head kick but it misses.
Bastard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marquez.

Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bastard throws a lazy uppercut
and Marquez counters with a right hand to the body.

Marquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bastard moves away.
Bastard attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Marquez avoids the head kick by Bastard.
Bastard slips a jab and a cross from Marquez.
Marquez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bastard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Marquez moves away from the strike by Bastard.
A combination from Bastard does no damage.
Marquez is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Marquez lands a nice looking body shot.
Bastard throws a lazy right hand but Marquez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marquez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bastard was well out of range. Poor timing from Marquez.

Bastard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marquez on his heels. He'll look to pass Marquez's guard now, I'm sure.

Marquez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bastard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bastard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bastard wants to control from the top but Marquez keeps moving.

Marquez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bastard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marquez has his feet on Bastard's thighs here. He's pushed Bastard off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bastard screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
