Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Humberto Manuel Arboleda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arboleda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ASTAROTH - GUERRA DE METAL. Tanaka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Yuudachi. Shinji Tanaka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arboleda as he avoids it easily.
Humberto Manuel Arboleda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanaka circles away from the clinch attempt.

Tanaka tries to pull guard but Arboleda forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Arboleda lands a good knee to the midsection. Tanaka won't want to take too many of those.

Arboleda creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tanaka's defenses.

Arboleda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Arboleda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tanaka, pushing him back against the cage.

Tanaka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arboleda smiles and moves away.

Tanaka ducks right into an uppercut from Arboleda.

A slapping leg kick lands for Arboleda.
Arboleda is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Arboleda moves into range and clinches up with Tanaka.
Arboleda lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Arboleda lands an elbow inside that Tanaka shrugs off.

A head kick misses from Arboleda.
Tanaka throws a right hand that Arboleda ducks under and follows up with a left that Arboleda also avoids with ease.
Arboleda tries to clinch but Tanaka is having none of it.

Arboleda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tanaka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tanaka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Arboleda tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tanaka is in Arboleda's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tanaka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tanaka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Arboleda's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tanaka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tanaka wants to work for an arm triangle but Arboleda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arboleda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Tanaka shoots for a double leg takedown but Arboleda sprawls well. He's pushed Tanaka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Tanaka counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Tanaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tanaka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Arboleda doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tanaka.
Tanaka seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arboleda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
