Mandela is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Free Nelson Mandela. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nelson Mandela enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mandela checks a leg kick.
Mandela throws a chopping leg kick but Egan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mandela pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mandela. That's going to slow Egan down.
Egan throws the kick towards the body but Mandela avoids it.
Mandela misses with a double jab.
Nelson Mandela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Egan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Egan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mandela circles away quickly and effectively.
Egan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Mandela throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Egan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mandela is in Egan's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Egan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Egan throws a sloppy head kick and Mandela moves out of range easily.
Zues Egan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Egan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Egan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mandela drives through with a takedown into Egan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Egan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mandela postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Egan looks a forlorn figure.

A big strike lands for Mandela! That's really hurt Egan and he's turned his back - Mandela keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mandela jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
