Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Turris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Superkick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Turris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephen Superkick! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turris blocks a head kick by Superkick.
Superkick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Turris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Superkick tries a head kick but it misses.

Superkick thows a body shot but no joy. Turris closes the distance and clinches up with Superkick, looking for a takedown. Turris pushes Superkick against the cage but Superkick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Turris tries to clinch up but Superkick circles away and keeps his distance. Superkick misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Turris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Superkick connects with a solid leg kick. Turris shoots in looking for a takedown. Superkick tries to sprawl out of it but Turris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Superkick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Turris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Superkick is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Superkick kicks Turris off and gets back to his feet. Turris doesn't manage to clinch there - Superkick circles away.

Turris fails to land the takedown. Turris shoots in for a takedown but Superkick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Turris takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Superkick takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Superkick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Turris throws a series of punches but Superkick avoids them all with ease. Superkick lands a head kick. Turris smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Turris fails in his attempt to clinch. Superkick throws a head kick that Turris semi-blocks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Superkick. Turris fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Superkick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Turris is breathing heavily. Superkick throws Turris to one side and escapes! Turris fails with a takedown attempt. Turris tries to clinch up and Superkick counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Superkick getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Superkick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Turris tries to clinch up letting Superkick counter with a right hand. Stephen Superkick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Superkick tries to avoid it but Turris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Superkick to the ground. Superkick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turris shoots for a double leg takedown but Superkick sprawls well. He's pushed Turris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Superkick throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Superkick keeps the fight on the outside. No luck for Turris with that takedown attempt. Turris on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Turris swings for the body but Superkick moves out of range.

Superkick lands with a slapping head kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Superkick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Turris. Turris throws a sloppy head kick and Superkick moves out of range easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turris has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Superkick dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Turris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Superkick won't be happy with that. Turris throwing strikes but Superkick manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Turris wants to control but Superkick postures up. Superkick is breathing heavily. Superkick decides to stand back up. Superkick steps back and let's Turris get back to his feet. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Superkick in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Turris gets a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Superkick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turris uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Turris moves out of range as Superkick strikes. Superkick looks to score with a jab to the body but Turris is just out of range. Turris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Turris prevents Superkick from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turris wants to free his trapped foot but Superkick is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turris is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Turris is looking to pass Superkick's guard but actually Superkick recovers to full guard. Superkick is looking to stand up but Turris isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Superkick has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Turris off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Turris slips a jab from Superkick. Turris avoids the body shot from Superkick.
Horrible takedown by Turris or perhaps it was just good defense by Superkick which made him look bad. Turris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Superkick connects with a leg kick. Turris looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stephen Superkick seems to be getting the better of the standup. Superkick misses with a head kick.

Stephen Superkick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turris looking to score a takedown here. Superkick is defending well but Turris drives through and ends up in Superkick's guard. Turris content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Turris wants to control from the top but Superkick keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turris is really struggling to control Superkick but he's trying to hold on to the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Turris dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Superkick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turris. Turris tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Superkick counters with a flying knee. Nice. Turris takes a kick to the side of the head. Superkick takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Superkick connects with a high kick. Superkick swings for the body but Turris moves out of range.

Superkick pushes Turris off and gets back to his feet. Turris throws a head kick that misses. Some bone on bone action there as Turris checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Turris shoots in looking for a takedown but Superkick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turris's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Superkick connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Superkick misses with a straight left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turris shoots in for a takedown but Superkick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Turris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Superkick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Turris closes the distance but Superkick moves to the side and Superkick counters with a low kick, right behind Turris 's knee. Superkick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Turris fails to land the takedown. Turris tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Superkick makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Superkick - that will leave a mark!

Turris closes this distance looking for a takedown but Superkick circles away. Superkick throws a head kick that Turris semi-blocks.

Turris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Superkick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turris somewhat. Turris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Superkick sprawls well. Superkick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turris gets slowly back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Superkick.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Stephen Superkick. I think Superkick has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
