Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Prevost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Gramacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Prevost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugo Gramacho!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gramacho closes the distance and clinches up with Prevost, looking for a takedown. Gramacho pushes Prevost against the cage but Prevost circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Prevost takes the fight into the clinch.
Prevost wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gramacho tries to score a body lock takedown but Prevost shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Prevost has had enough of the clinch but Gramacho keeps him there for the moment.
Gramacho is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Prevost pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ryan Prevost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Gramacho.
Prevost tries to break the clinch but Gramacho is controlling the position.

Prevost has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gramacho is trying to keep an underhook but Prevost manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Prevost decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Prevost tries to close the distance and clinch but Gramacho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gramacho shoots in but Prevost avoids the takedown attempt easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Prevost seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gramacho does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Prevost connects with a couple of short punches.
Prevost wants to stand but Gramacho has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prevost lands a couple of elbows.

Prevost gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gramacho swats away the attempt to clinch by Prevost.

and Prevost counters with a nice uppercut.

Gramacho doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Prevost counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gramacho.
The fight stays on the outside here - Prevost looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Prevost drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Prevost decides to stand back up. Prevost steps back and let's Gramacho get back to his feet.
Gramacho doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Prevost counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gramacho's guard now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gramacho controls Prevost momentarily but Prevost frees himself.
Prevost is looking to work some ground and pound but Gramacho has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Prevost dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Gramacho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Prevost counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gramacho won't be happy with that.
Prevost tries to score with some ground and pound. Gramacho controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Gramacho takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Gramacho manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gramacho wants to control but Prevost is keeping busy.
Prevost slows the pace down in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Prevost connects with a nice short shot to Gramacho's temple.

Prevost stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gramacho is looking to control Prevost's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gramacho avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prevost has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gramacho to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Prevost is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gramacho pulls down on the head and he's put Prevost to sleep! This one is all over!
